An intimate, warm and functional interior proposal for Murjek railway station.

At Murjek railway station, the only one along Malmbanan in Jokkmokk municipality, locals as well as tourists from all over the world meet. For many years, local zealots have fought for the survival of the train station. This degree project aims to preserve the station building by supporting existing qualities and activities in an interior proposal where the floor plan is optimized for future functional use. Murjek’s living room is an interior proposal with the same warmth as the people in Murjek. Welcome!
