Why Do People Cry at Funerals?
Why Do People Cry at Funerals? is a graphic novel containing various short stories and reflections focusing on the exploration of death and grief. The novel follows Irene in various moments of their life, while they’re trying to understand what death means to them.
By taking inspiration from my personal stories and thoughts, I explore the topic of grief. Why do people cry at Funerals? is a safe space to reflect and question the current celebrations and various ways of grieving, and vulnerably explore their own individual relations to grief.
