℅ is a space that holds and uplifts queer voices. It’s a place to occupy, engage, discuss and create collectively. Workshops and discussions will be held to mobilise publishing as activism.
℅ explores how archives and printed matter are used as a tool for resistance and mutual care. The archive is used as a container and framework for hosting spaces of publishing and activism. This is achieved through resource sharing, DIY or DIT zine culture and protest type. They aim to record queer resistance by embedding our collective histories into contemporary communication with a focus on queering design aesthetics. They believe this to be a way for us to imagine alternative futures and utopias.
