David Danell

David Danell works with video and installation. His work often circles around specific figures, e.g. a Latvian poet or an American country singer. In his practice, he situates himself as an outside observer, looking for a scene to unfold that may serve as a projection of his own thoughts about various topics such as loneliness, memory and myth.
