The main purpose of this product is to make rescue operations smoother, faster and safer, especially when someone is stuck under rubble. Taking inspiration from the movements and flexibility of octopuses, the product has been designed to access difficult-to-reach places by crawling under the debris. Octo is designed to be used in rescue missions and can be easily controlled using a portable remote control. It uses inflatable arms to perform lifts and create a path between the survivors and the surroundings. This results in a safer and more secure rescue intervention, for both the rescue personnel and for those trapped under the debris.
