Homesickness, a feeling often associated with nostalgia and longing for a place which is special to us, can warp the memory image from the real into something beautiful, warm and better. Our memories tend to keep the positive and emotional aspects, while forgetting or diminishing the unpleasant. In LandsbygdsAura I present a memory transformed in this way. This is not how the place look but rather this is how it feels to me.

I am a multi-media artist. My art takes shape in playful and colourful exteriors which also include melancholic and serious undertones. At the same time, my work is a kind of balancing act between the abstract and the figurative, where I aim to include them in equal parts. I continuously work with multiple projects at the same time which gives me the possibility to discover new materials and techniques parallel to deep-diving in other projects.
