Yuqing Tang

She is a being. She is a GIANT.

She has cool tattoos beneath her skin. She has a lot of human and non-human urban creature friends. She is a fabulous glitch in a city obsessed with cleanliness and tidiness.

But she has been shut down, fenced in, and threatened with demolition. Her eyes are covered, her vocal cords silenced.

I am here, as a humanoid being, juxtaposing the being of myself and a GIANT being like her.

I want to find a non-gazing, non-objectifying, non-decisive, non-destructive way of confronting city glitches, as an addition to the centrifugal force driving us out of the vortex of normality of endless urban development and humancentrism.

If she is free from the chain, she will be whatever she wants to be.
