We are living in the Digital Age, spending a lot of our time in front of screens.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As a result of this digitisation\u00a0where experiences are reproduced through smooth surfaces, the analogue materiality disappears and is replaced by a digital version. By experiencing things just through our vision, our tactile sense does not get challenged,\u00a0since our vision only reveals what the tactile sense already knows.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I have a fascination about how we as humans are drawn towards things that disgust us and I\u2019m interested in the tension these contradicting feelings create.
