My degree project has been focused on perceptions of fan art creation in relation to the teacher and the classroom, and examining how it fits into that context. The choice to work with fan art stems from something self-centred, from my own experience of being a fan, being in a fandom, and creating fan art. What does it do to someone? What happens then?
